Textbook
One of our most popular texts in the Lawrenceville Press
series, A Guide to Microsoft Office XP Professional, was written
and classroom tested by experienced computer educators and
employs the same "hands-on" approach that has made
our other texts so popular. The text includes introductory,
intermediate, and advanced chapters for Word, Excel, and Access,
making the text appropriate for students at a variety of levels.
A chapter instructs students on how to produce PowerPoint
presentations and an additional two chapters explain Outlook.
Use of the Internet and e-mail etiquette are also discussed.
A Guide to Microsoft Office XP Professional emphasizes the
development of good computer and problem-solving skills in
a clear, easy-to-understand format. Each new concept is first
discussed and then followed by a practice session that requires
the student to apply newly learned skills using Office. Each
chapter contains practices, examples, screen captures, and
a large number of exercises and review questions of varying
difficulty.
Networking, telecommunications, computer ethics, computer-related
careers, and the history of computer applications are also
covered.
Students may download data files and additional materials about
operating systems from Lpdatafiles.com
at no charge.

2003.
